In the early 90’s an observation was made of the many English speaking people both Cameroonians and Nigerians  that were finding it difficult and uncomfortable when they go to public health structures. Often they leave frustrated because they were unable to express themselves in the language they can be properly understood.

Secondly, an observation that was also made through the founders experience in working with other structures was   the way the   poor or the vulnerable are sometimes treated was not good. They were often abandoned in other hospitals unattended to because they had no money to pay their bills.

A need to have a structure that will caught across language barriers, reach out to the  rich, poor, educated, oppressed, the vulnerable the displace cared for with a cost effective approach became strong in my mind.
